Full Moon in Libra (with a side of Lunar Eclipse)

Hey babes!

Welcome to our breakdown of what you can expect with this March's Libra Full Worm Moon (and Lunar Eclipse!).

This March's Full Moon, known as the Full Worm Moon (more on that later), is a whopper of an event, featuring the start of Eclipse season this Sunday, March 24. Prepare yourself for the possibility of ex-lovers reaching out, skeletons popping out of closets, a dash of karmic justice, and a delightful little burst of affection toward all of the people and things that make your heart soar. Dang. That's a lot. Buckle up, and let's dig in.

Libra, the sign of aesthetic, romance and justice is currently vibing in the South Node, which is the astrological zone of past lives, baggage, trauma and regret. Well doesn't that just sound warm and fuzzy? While this positioning may not sound entirely ideal, it will prove itself to be a catalyst for major growth and change. Now is a fabulous time to review your relationships- not only romantic, but platonic friendships as well. When looking at these interpersonal relationships, you need to analyze what is and isn't working for both you and the other person (people) involved.  If you're making yourself smaller to appease people, or carrying around trauma from prior incidents/other people, it's time to knock it off.  It's weighing you down and wallowing will do you no favors. Take it as a lesson learned, snag that XP, level up, and move onward and upward. You're better than that situation. And remember, we did mention a bit of karmic justice earlier….

Venus, currently in Pisces with a conjunction in Saturn, will likely bring up thoughts of past relationships and breakups and thoughts of reconciling- trust the Full Moon's amplification of your intuition, and go with your gut here. Just make good choices, okay? Setting boundaries within current relationships will prove very important at this time, but channeling Libra's desire for balance will be necessary as there will be a risk of self-sabotage. It's so great to take time for yourself, but be sure you aren't subconsciously building walls to keep others out.

This Full Moon will also feature a penumbral Lunar Eclipse, which is when the Earth's shadow will be cast upon the moon, darkening it but not fully occluding it. Eclipse season is typically a transformative one, and this March Full Moon is no exception. You can count on a bit of cosmic course correction of your priorities and even possibly the end of a journey or relationship. Release any past relationship baggage we've dragged out of the South Node closet and focus on the things and people around you that bring you joy. Jupiter and Uranus are currently in Taurus, highlighting the creature comforts we love and making them extra appealing.

Additionally, if you're waiting for some divine justice, well babe, get ready because Karma is a bitch and she is not playing around this time. This lunar Eclipse opens up a 28 day window of pure karmic retribution, working steadily with Libra's strong sense of justice. Grab some popcorn, snag a cozy blanket and kick your feet up because things might get a little spicey for the resident schemers and cheaters. If you, yourself are the purveyor of shady shenanigans and diabolical dalliances, grab a helmet and duck and cover. What's done in the dark will come out in the light and it will not be pretty. Time to learn from those mistakes and grow as a person.

Calling it the Worm Moon might give you a bit of the ick, but the nomenclature derives from the Naudowessie tribe of the Mississippi River Valley. The "worm" referenced is actually beetle larva emerging from their winter homes to start their journey as the spring thaw takes over. It's the end of one season and the beginning of another. Hmm… sorta sounds familiar, huh?

Don't worry- we'd still love you, even if you were a worm ❤️
